    LAW & PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT

    SR. NO. 181.

    (CASE NO. 11 - RC / 2015) RECRUITMENT TO THREE POSTS OF DEPUTY DIRECTOR (LUMP SUM) (L&PA) ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS IN THE LAW & PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT.

    1. QUALIFICATIONS:
    a. LLM., or Bar-at-Law, or LL.B (50% marks in the aggregate), or equivalent qualification from a reputed University/Institution, recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

    b. In case of LL.B., and Bar-at-Law, four years; and, in case of LL.M., two years (i) active practice as Advocate High Court; (ii) experience as Judicial Officer; (iii) experience as Law Officer or experience in drafting of substantive and delegated legislation and other legal instruments in public or private sector of repute; or (iv) experience of legal research; or (v) the aggregate of experiences at (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv).

    NOTE: Preference shall be given to a person who; (a) also possesses the recognized qualification of legislative drafting; or who has at least two years practical experience of drafting/vetting of substantive and delegated legislation and legal instruments; and (b) has satisfactory knowledge of Microsoft office and other related computer applications.

    2. PAY: (LUMP SUM)
    a. Pay: Rs.25000+ Rs. 2500/- as annual increment
    b. Special Allowance: Rs.25000/-
    c. House Rent Allowance: Rs.11500/-
    d. Conveyance allowance: Rs. 5000/-
    e. Utilities: Rs. 3000/-
    f. Medical Allowance: 15% of the running pay
    g. Gratuity equal to one month's pay on completion of each year of service.

    3. AGE: 25 to 45 Years on 28-09-2015.
    (No relaxation in age is applicable).

    POPULATIOIN WELFARE DEPARTMENT

    SR. NO. 182.

    (CASE NO. 12 - RC / 2015) RECRUITMENT TO FIVE (INCLUDING 01 POST RESERVED FOR WOMEN QUOTA) POSTS OF DEMOGRAPHER (BS-17) ON TEMPORARY LIKELY TO BE MADE PERMANENT BASIS IN THE PUNJAB POPULATION WELFARE DEPARTMENT.

    1. QUALIFICATIONS:
    Master’s Degree (2nd Division) in Statistics, Economics, Population Studies, Gender Studies, Demography or Information Technology (IT) from a recognized University.

    2. AGE:
    Male Candidates:

    One Paper Written Test of MCQ Type 100 Marks of Two hours duration shall be conducted to shortlist the candidates as per policy of the Commission with the following syllabus:-

    6. Population Related Theories: Pre-modern Thoughts; Malthus Theory of Population; Theory of Demographic Transition; Marxist Perspective; Easterlain’s and Becker’s Theories.


    7. Role and Impact of Population growth on development.

    8. Techniques of Demographic Analysis: Measures of Mortality; Measures of Fertility: Measures of Migration; Population Growth Rates; Standardized Rates; Life Table Analysis.

    9. 21st Century Population Problems:
    i. Population and Poverty.
    ii. Population and Environment.
    iii. Population and Urban Growth.
    iv. Population and Health Issues (Gender Perspective)
    v. Population and Aging.


    SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

    (CASE NO. 266 - RA / 2015) RECRUITMENT TO 199 (ONE HUNDRED & NINETY NINE) POSTS OF HEADMASTER / DEPUTY HEADMASTER INCLUDING 06 POSTS RESERVED FOR DISABLED PERSONS AND 10 POSTS RESERVED FOR MINORITIES (BS-17) ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS IN THE SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT.

    1. QUALIFICATIONS:
    i. Master’s Degree (Arts or Science) (Second Division) from a recognized University;
    ii. M.Ed., M.A (Education) or B.Ed. (Second Division) from a recognized University.

    (CASE NO. 267 - RA / 2015) RECRUITMENT TO 296 (TWO HUNDRED & NINETY SIX) POSTS OF HEADMISTRESS / DEPUTY HEADMISTRESS INCLUDING 09 POSTS RESERVED FOR DISABLED PERSONS AND 15 POSTS RESERVED FOR MINORITIES (BS-17) ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS IN THE PUNJAB SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT.

    1. QUALIFICATIONS:

    i. Master’s Degree (Arts or Science) (Second Division) from a recognized University;
    ii. M.Ed., M.A (Education) or B.Ed. (Second Division) from a recognized University.

    SYLLABUS FOR THE POSTS OF HEADMASTER/ DEPUTY HEADMASTER AND HEADMISTRESS / DEPUTY HEADMISTRESS:

    Candidates will be required to undergo Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) written test, syllabus on which is as under:

    DURATION: 02 HOURS MARKS: 100

    Application of the knowledge with specific reference to the following aspects:-

    i. B.Ed. Course.
    ii. Questions on applications of the Principles of Teachings.

    GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date which is 30-09-2015. Candidates should fill the online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission's website www.ppsc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till the last date of submission of online applications. Applications other than ONLINE will not be accepted.

    2. Candidates will have to deposit Rs:700/- for Sr. No. 181 and Rs:400/- for Sr. No. 182, 183 & 184 under head:“C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”, in any Branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury before the closing date and receipt number will be mentioned in the Online Application Form. Original Receipt will be produced at the time of Written Test, Interview/ Viva voce without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Test, Interview / Viva voce. Original Receipt will be retained by PPSC for record purposes.

    3. Disabled candidates intending to appear in the Punjab Public Service Commission’s tests / examinations are exempted of application / examination fee.

    4. HARD COPY of ON-LINE Application Form is not required.

    5. Candidates are requested to mention their e-mail addresses in the On-Line Application Form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create an e-mail account immediately. Correspondence with candidates will be made through E-mail thus add address (ppsc-info@ppsc.gop.pk) into your contacts / address book so as to ensure the delivery of PPSC mail into INBOX rather than into JUNK / SPAM like folder.

    6. In case a large number of applications are received, the Commission reserves the right to shortlist candidates on the basis of their qualifications and academic record or hold one paper written test (MCQ type) of 100 marks relating to prescribed qualifications and job description of the post or relating to general ability, to shortlist the candidates.

    7. Schedule of Written Test / Exam will be given on PPSC website from where candidates can download their roll numbers and information about date, time and venues for Written Test / Exam. No candidate will be informed about the date of Written Test / Interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service Commission Office or visit the Commission's Website: www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.

    8. IN CASE ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE CANDIDATE IN HIS/ HER ONLINE APPLICATION FORM PROVE TO BE INCORRECT AT ANY STAGE, HE/ SHE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND DISCIPLINARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN UNDER THE RULES.

    9. The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in cases where selection is made only on the basis of viva-voce / interview, before finalization of viva-voce/ interview.

    10. Candidates presently living / residing abroad and having Punjab Domicile may also apply.

    11. In case of disabled person, Column 20 of Online Application Form should be filled in mentioning “Yes”. If the candidate is disabled, he/she will have to submit a certificate from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons of Social Welfare Department.

    12. Following Documents in Original along with two photocopied sets will be required, if called for Interview / Viva voce:

    a. Matriculation Certificate or in case of ‘O’ Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad showing Total / Obtained Marks, Date of Birth. Or School leaving Certificate showing Date of Birth.

    b. Intermediate Certificate / 'A' Level along with Equivalent Qualification from IBCC, Islamabad, showing Total / Obtained Marks.

    c. Degrees / Detailed Marks Certificates of Relevant Academic Certificates duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing Total / Obtained Marks, CGPA / GPA or Percentages of Marks.

    d. Degree and Detailed marks of LL.B/LL.M., from a recognized University duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total/obtained marks and percentages.

    e. Experience Certificate from President District Bar Association/ Sub-Divisional Bar Association duly countersigned and affixing rubber stamps of District & Session Judge concerned (in original) showing date of membership.

    f. Punjab Bar Council's up to date/valid registration certificate showing the date of enrolment.

    g. Domicile Certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the Closing Date.

    h. In case of Government Servant, the Departmental Permission Certificate (format available on PPSC website) duly signed and stamped by the Competent Authority of concerned Department.

    i. Experience certificate (Specimen available on PPSC website) duly signed by the Competent Authority.

    j. Valid C.N.I.C.

    k. Passport Size Photograph.

    l. Disability Certificate, if affected in Column 20 of Online Application Form has been ticked.

    m. Foreign qualification(s) must be recognized by HEC and declared Equivalent by the Q.E.D.C of the concerned Department.

    n. Equivalence of the Qualifications / Degrees will determined by the Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (QEDC) of concerned Administrative Department.

    o. Original Treasury Receipt of fee deposited.


    Important Note:

    i) Candidates will be called for interview provisionally. On detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his / her application will be rejected.

    ii) Candidates will be admitted to the written test (if held) provisionally. Detailed scrutiny will be carried out of applications of candidates declared successful in written test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his /her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he / she appeared in the Written Test and / or qualified therein.

    iii) To avoid frustration, candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules and selection criteria as advertised relating to the post before the closing date.
