    ISLAMABAD CAPITAL TERRITORY POLICE


                                            VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
    To ensure transparency, fairness & merit, Islamabad Capital Territory Police has assigned the responsibility of conducting recruitment process (physical test, written test, interviews and driving proficiency test) to National Testing Service (NTS) to vacant posts of Constable, Driver Constable & ASI. Applications are invited from suitable Pakistani National candidates (Male/Female & Minorities) to fill these vacant posts in ICTP according to the following Provincial/ Regional, Women & Minority Quota as laid down by the Federal Government.

    Application should reached the undersigned on prescribed application form within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement. (i.e. Tuesday, 17th February 2015)
    Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification, Physical Requirements & Experience:
    i. For ASI: BA/BSC
    ii. For Constable: Matric
    iii. For Driver Constable: Matric + Valid LTV driving license.
    iv Minimum height for male candidates 5’x8″
    v. Minimum height for female candidates 5’x3
    vi. Chest measurements 33×34’/ for male candidates.
    vii. Candidates haye to complete 1 mile running in 7 minutes.
    Age Limit: 18-25 Years on 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement
    CRITERIA FOR EK ARMY MEN
    i. Education: Matric
    ii. Height: 5’X8″
    iii. Chest: 33 X 34-1/2
    iv Age:  Less than 30 Years as prescribed in police rule 1934
    Conditions:
    i. Ex Army men will be enlisted as Constable on production of a discharge certificate showing his previous service to have been good or of higher classification subject to fulfilling of aforesaid criteria and successfully qualifying the physical/written test & Interview.
    ii. Age on the date of enrollment in the Police must be less than 30 Years.
    iii. The break of service between the date of enrollment in the police and the date of discharge from previous army employ shall not exceed two years, and there must not have been more than two breaks of service in all.
    iv. No claim to count previous service for pension shall be allowed unless the previous service claimed was declared and verified at the time of enrollment in the police.
    Age Limit: Less than 30 Years on 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement.
    Selected Candidates Original/Attested copies of following documents shall be present at the time of interview:-
    i. Academic certificates
    ii. CNIC issued by NADRA
    iii. Domicile certificate / Local residence certificate.
    iv. 02 passport size photographs with blue background.
    v. Affidavit duly countersigned by District Coordination Officer (DCO) in case of applying against minorities (Non Muslim) quota.
    vi. Discharge certificate (for Ex Army Men).
    Government employees up to the age of 25 years shall submit the NOC from concerned department along with their applications.
    How to Apply
    i. Application form and deposit slip are available on NTS Website: www.nts.org.pk
    ii. Please deposit Recruitment processing fee Rs. 650/- through the prescribed deposit slip in the online branches of ABL, UBL, HBL and MCB. Applications will not be acceptable if deposit slip receipt (in original) is not attached.
    iii. Please complete the Application Form in all respects and send, along with attested copy of ID Card within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement by courier / registered mail to: NTS Headquarter, (Project Manager, ICTP, 1-E, Street No. 46, Sector 1-8/2, Islamabad. (Helpline: +92-51-844-444-1), Incomplete Applications, Applications received after closing date and Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.
    General Instructions :
    1. Physical Test will include Height/Chest Measurement and Running Speed & Stamina. Candidates are advised to bring their own joggers and bottle of drinking water.
    2. Candidates will go through in three following steps and if candidate has failed at any step then he/she will not be qualified for next step.
    i. 1st step will be physical test
    ii. 2nd step will be written test
    iii. 3rd step will be interview
    3. Candidates qualified for interviews will have to go through complete medical examination (both physical & psychological) by the Medical Board, failing which candidate will be disqualified.
    4. At the time of final selection, candidate will be examined by the authorized Civil Surgeon of the Federal Government.
    5. Character verification and background check of selected candidates will be conducted. In case of any unsatisfactory information or criminal record, selection shall stand withdrawn / cancelled immediately.
    6. Original documents shall be verified as per the information provided in application form. If any information is found false / incorrect at any stage, the applicant (even if employed) on such false/incorrect information, shall be liable to dismissed from service as well as legal proceedings will also be initiated against him.
    7. Candidates from all the district, provinces/religions of Pakistan are advised to to send their applications by courier / registered mail to NTS Headquarter (Project Manager ICTP) 1-E, Street No. 46, Sector 1-8/2, Islamabad (Help line: +92-51-844-444-1).
    8. Candidate have to submit the Surety bound to serve in Islamabad Police for minimum 10 years.
